What can I open in WAX?
Any website — music apps, services, file browsers, or your own custom HTML pages. WAX apps with full integration get audio, MIDI, sync and preset support automatically.
Is WAX an instrument or an effect?
Both. Actually more. WAX comes in 3 plugin types: Instrument, Audio FX, and MIDI FX. Load it as an instrument to play web synths with MIDI, or as an effect to process audio through web-based tools. MIDI FX can trigger Synths & Audio FX.
Can I run my own Web App or Build Custom Apps?
Yes — You can run existing web apps whether they are hosted online or files are local on your machine.
WAX is also a framework. Build HTML pages for learning experiences, custom devices or commercial tools. Integrate WAX with existing web apps.

What DAWs does it work with?
WAX ships as VST3 and Audio Unit for Mac and Windows, so it runs in Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Reaper, Studio One and more.
What about security and privacy?
WAX loads websites by design, so pages you open can use their own cookies and analytics — the same as in a normal browser. WAX itself only contacts AudioFusion for activation and license checks; we do not sell your browsing data or send us a list of URLs you visit.
